And so the dust has settled on another WEBF Bugle Contest. As this is being written, our flags are being taken down around the village and the stage and seating have been packed away for another year. All that remains is to thank everyone that braved the disappointing weather conditions to make the day a success.
Congatulations to St Dennis on their Royal Trophy win and of course to all the other winners too. Special thanks to our adjudicators – John Berryman, Derek Greenwood and Gareth Roberts for doing such a fine job under difficult conditions. We hope to see you all again soon.
The Centenary exhibition and souvenir book seemed to be very popular with both players and spectators alike and the extra spectator marquee was a resounding success.
The 2013 Contest will be held at Molinnis Park on Saturday 15th June when Phillip Harper will be our adjudicator.
