For our 90th Annual Contest to be held at Molinnis Park, Bugle on Saturday June 21st, we are pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with Barclays Bank. The Barclays Community Scheme enables local organizations to benefit from staff donating their time and fundraising skills. As well as providing volunteers to help with all the work that goes on behind the scenes on the day itself, Barclays have also invited us to display some of our trophies and sell programmes to raise awareness and increase the profile or our event at their St Austell Branch on Saturday June 14th.

Barclays employees make significant contributions to their local communities by volunteering, fundraising and giving money.  All Barclays employees are given time during working hours and grants to support their volunteering activities.

In 2012, 68,000 employees worldwide volunteered 459,000 hours of their work and personal time. Many colleagues report how volunteering gives them the opportunity to build skills to support their community.

Make a Difference Day,  is Barclays’ annual volunteering campaign and encourages colleagues to give time and skills, not money, and builds on their existing community activity.

We are extremely grateful for the support and hope our new association with such a high profile partner will continue for many years to come.
